Awards for All Supplement 1
Changes of providers from 1 April 2009
From 1 April 2009 there have been changes to the Awards for All scheme in that there are now four different providers:
- Big Lottery Fund
- Sports England
- Arts
- Heritage Lottery Fund
Big Lottery Fund
This no longer funds projects based mainly on sports, arts or heritage but is for small grants, as before, for community projects that:
- Give people better changes in life with access to training and development to improve their life skills
- Make sronger communities, with people working together to tackle their problems
- Improve environments which communities are able to enjoy
- Make for healthier and more active communities
Other changes
- Regional requirements have been removed
- Applications can be made online

It is an easy site to navigae and gives lots of information.
Remember
- The scheme is to involve people in their communities not arts so stress the educational aims of NAFAS in your application
