The RHS Spring Show 19 & 20 February 2013
NAFAS was represented by the London & Overseas Area who were awarded a Silver Gilt medal for their exhibit entitled ' Step into Spring'.
The inspiration for the design came from Mother Nature, where the wheel is turning towards the season of Spring.
The design aims to show the triumph of Spring over Winter's chill with the veil of Winter lifted and Spring has emerged, bursting with new life in all its many forms. Daffodils pushing their way up towards the sun, sensing the changing season, their heads standing tall; primroses opeing into a profusion of petals, hellobores shyly lifting their heads welcoming in the new season, giving hope and the promise of more to come. All things to the call respond.
A delightful exhibit and our congratulations go to the arrangers Thelma Oaks and Myra Lester.
