A Flower Festival to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the founding
of The Priory Church of St Andrew the Apostle, Hamble-le-Rice.
Designs in the church and churchyard will reflect the rich history of this beautiful
medieval church which was founded by monks who came from France in 1109.
The life of the village, set on the River Hamble will also be widely illustrated.
Once a fishing port and now a hugely popular venue for the yachting community,
Hamble has also been associated with aviation over many years.
All this and more will be incorporated into the exciting designs currently being developed
