Description of Club
The inaugural meeting of the Club was held on 17 February 1954 at which members agreed to meet monthly, on the 4th Wednesday of each month. We have continued to do so to this day, with only a short break in 1957 due to petrol rationing!

Today we are a dynamic and forward thinking Club that welcomes new members, particulary those with no experience of flower arranging. All levels of expertise are catered for in our interesting and diverse programme of demonstrations, workshops and classes.

Doors open at 1.15 pm and the demonstrations start at 2 pm. We are fortunate to have a public car park near to the hall in Chestnut Avenue. We offer a warm welcome to visitors and new members.

Floral display at Haslemere Hall

On Wednesday 28 January an Anniversary cake to mark the 50th Anniversary of NAFAS was cut by two of our longest serving members, our President Jean Stichbury and Fran Lunn, Chairman.

After a fantasic slide presentation by Mike and Ann Pannett, Jean Stichbury gave a short talk on the last 50 years of NAFAS before cake and sherry were served. It was a wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all those present.

We hope the fun will continue as we celebrate our Emerald Anniversary this year with a competitive Show at Haslemere Education Museum on Saturday 16 May.
