After a very successful Flower Festival 'Our Heritage', at St Augustine's Church in October, we were delighted to present a cheque for £2,500 to the Chairman of The League of Friends of Bexhill Hospital at our November club meeting. In accepting the cheque the Chairman said he was, "amazed and delighted with the sum and was absolutely overwhelmed with the tremendous support we had given to The League of Friends, also the wonderful skills we had put into such a fantastic festival - it was absolutely fabulous". A donation of £500 was also made to St Augustine's Church.
