Flower Club Name
New Brighton Flower Arrangement Society

Area 20 Cheshire

Description of Club
The Society was formed by Mrs Ann Parsonage who invited like minded people to a meeting on 26 March 1965. Since this small beginning the Society has grown in strength from an original 30 on that night, to a current membership of 80.

Our monthly meeting is held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (no mtg in August of this year). A wide variety of entertainment is provided by both, local and nationally known arrangers.

Regaular Competitive Shows for Members are held, and we are happy to become involved in all kinds of charity fund raising. The Society has staged many flower festivals for local churches.

We have a varied age range and try to cater for all tastes, whether you are interested in traditional arranging, continental stying or have moved on in this every changing art to be a 'New Wave' devotee. We are continually on the look out for new members and always welcome visitors to each meeting - we are a friendly lot!

So if you or a friend live in our area, we would be happy to hear from you. If anyone is visiting in the area and would like to drop in to see flowers 'the New Brighton way', you are very welcome.

Our Chairman is Mrs Liz Kennan who would be happy to discuss any queries with you and she may be contacted on - 0151 638 0637.

So whether a 'beginner or 'old hand' we are sure that there will be something to interest you on our very well equipped sales table, and you will be welcomed to take a seat for a very enjoyable evening of entertainment.
