Romford Floral Art Society was founded in 1960 by a small group of flower arrangers with the aim of encouraging interest in all forms of floral art.
Meetings consist of a demonstration and a raffle of the arrangements, with the exception of the AGM in January. We run a sales table and sell plants to raise money for St. Francis Hospice. Refreshments are available during the interval.
Events throughout the year include a luncheon in June with a demonstration by a National Demonstrator, a show and outings by coach to the NAFAS National Show, gardens or other places of interest. We also fundraise to boost our income by holding events such as an auction, open gardens or a cream tea.
