We are a well-established and friendly group with 63 members, mostly of retirement age and over, and in 2012 we will be celebrating our fortieth anniversary.
On the 4th Wednesday of the month, we have FUN WITH FLOWERS when anyone can join us making an arrangement to take home. The established flower arrangers help the novices, new members get to know others and a good time is had by all. These sessions are well attended and the standard of arranging has risen as a result.
Each January we hold a coffee morning on club day to raise club funds, with anything we can spare going to our chosen charity. We also put on a club show every two years, which is always well supported by our members, and we try to run a coach trip in the summer to a flower festival or something of interest to our members, which is also well supported.
New members and visitors are always welcome to come and join us.
