Description

Dorset & Guernsey Area of NAFAS has the particular distinction of being the home of Mary Pope, and she is well remembered by members as a frequent visitor to their clubs' special events. Originally we were part of the South West Area, but now we look forward to our own 40th Anniversary celebrations in 2010. Although being the smallest Area, members have a keen interest in all aspects of floral design and are keen to exhibit at flower festivals in churches, public places and country houses, and to compete in Club, Area and National Shows where they regularly achieve high awards.

We are represented by Area and National judges, demonstrators, teachers and speakers, and it has been a pleasure to be involved in the orginisation of several National Shows in Bournemouth. We will enjoy participating in the NAFAS 50th Anniversary celebrations and in Rejoice the Westminster Abbey Festival of Flowers.

30 October - 1 November		AREA SHOW at the Purbeck Hall, Purbeck School, Wareham Friday 11am to 4pm; Saturday 10am to 3pm
4 December		Light lunch followed by Carol Service, Wimborne Methodist Church
