The East of England Area of NAFAS was formed in 1954 and is the largest of the 21 Areas. We celebrated our 65th Anniversary in 2019.
There are 87 Clubs with around 3,000 members. Because of the geographical spread of the Area, which extends some 7,000 square miles, a decision was made in 1958 to form Groups within the Area. The five Groups, namely Cambridge, Colchester, East Suffolk, King’s Lynn and Norwich act as a liaison between the Clubs within their Group and the Area Association. The Groups play a very vital part in our unique and diverse Area.
East of England members take an active part in countless National and International events, and many have served on various National Committees. Additionally, we are proud to have had two National Presidents and three National Chairmen.
The East of England Area have the following Junior Flower Clubs:
- Little Acorns
- Bradwell Buds Junior Flower Club
